Visible range or light spans 380 to 780 nm. This range is the most powerful range of the spectrum of the Sun’s solar radiation. As the name suggests, this range is visible to the naked eye. The feature of the Sun’s solar radiation defines the life on earth and it defines what can we see. This is the proof that our being came from the same origin.

A long, long time ago, the ocean was calm and deep, the life began to move in the ocean.

And there was evening and there was morning, the waters under the sky was gathered together into one place, and the dry land was appeared. This photography series presents the experience of seeing through the sea of Incheon, eventually, the series wants to present that we are the being from the same origin and deduce the answer for the question - WHO WE ARE?

The structure of the story of this series is based on the <The Story of Mang-gu Halmae 망구할매> that is the folk tale of the West Coast of the Korean Peninsular. I tried to capture the sea of Baengnyeong Island(백령도, 白翎島) and Daecheong Island(대청도, 大靑島) by my cameras with the viewpoint of Mang-gu Halmae who is tall and naive goddess in my imagination.
